Welcome to the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). Our Chapter is a vibrant group of legal professionals who are committed to advancing the profession of legal administration. Our goal is to provide educational, professional growth and personal development along with networking with our peers in the legal community. My personal goal as the Chapter President is to inspire you to get involved with the Chapter and become a part of ALA. To learn more about the Northern Virginia Chapter, I invite you to attend a monthly meeting or Chapter event. Please see our calendar of events for dates and locations.

Chartered in 1980, the Northern Virginia chapter is compiled of legal professionals and is affiliated with the National Association of Legal Administrators, a non-profit organization with over 10,000 members worldwide. The goal of the Association of Legal Administrators is to improve the quality of management in legal service organizations; promote and enhance the competence of professionalism of legal administrators; and represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and the community at large.
